Upon arrival I thought it was really cute and seemed like they had a nice selection. I donโ€™t know much about plants, so I usually just go to Loweโ€™s/ Home Depot and just pick whatever looks good. I wanted to try this place to support a local business, but I was treated very poorly and will not return. The man working was trying to help me find a plant, which I did appreciate but he snapped at me when I couldnโ€™t answer all of his questions. I have never been talked to like that as a customer. I donโ€™t suggest going here unless you know exactly what you want and donโ€™t mind being talked down to.

I bought nice 4โ€ starts this spring: geraniums, lantana, coleus, million bells, bidens, etc. They have done so well and have grown into show-stoppers on my deck. I will definitely come back next year for plants!

- Beware - We have been customers of this mans nursery at the farmers market in black mountain in the past, but after today we will never purchase anything from him ever again. I have lived in this town my entire life and never been screamed at on a Saturday morning by someone locally the way this man did to my entire family. The volume and the intensity this man screamed at us over stopping to let my elderly mother out so that she wouldnโ€™t have to walk a far distance because she is recovering from pneumonia was shocking and completely out of line. I told this man it was unnecessary to scream at us this way and that it was incredibly rude, and he continued to scream at us, creating a show for the entire farmers market. I asked him to stop screaming at me and he only screamed more. I finally just had to walk away because he was scaring my daughter. He acted as if we had just walked up to his stand and kicked his plants and dumped them out or something. The funny thing is, this isnโ€™t the first time weโ€™ve seen this man scream at people entering the farmers market before. He needs to take some rage classes. The most ironic partโ€ฆhe sells flowers and plants!!! Youโ€™d think heโ€™d be a happ

The day we went, nice selection of good shade plants like heucheras, hostas, yews, some ferns, a few hydrangeas, some trees, shrubs, climbing plants, a few herbs (few kinds of rosemary, some lavender). Surprising amount of stuck for the size if the location. Could use a little TLC though. Some rhododendron and other trees struggling for shade or, not well potted. On the whole, a decent selection and very friendly people. Pandemic notes: Tight space for social distancing, but they are trying for sure (masks, distancing, etc).

Jeff Seitz and his crew finished the transformation of our front lawn to a native habitat of great beauty. His landscape plan and choice of native trees and shrubs put him head and shoulders above any competition. His plan alone is as good as any landscape architectโ€™s. This is the second time we have used Jeff and Appalachian Creek in three years, and we couldnโ€™t be happier with the collaboration. Thank you again.
